Oztron Energy is delighted to have been a key participant in the Horizon Power Solar Schools program, a significant initiative that brought solar power to schools across the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, and Goldfields-Esperance regions of Western Australia. As a subcontractor to Mechanical Project Services, we were involved in executing a total of 1.5 MW of installed capacity across 14 schools in the towns of Karratha, Port Hedland, Esperance, Broome, Wyndham, Derby, and Exmouth. The schools included:

Our responsibilities included detailed electrical engineering, design of on-site communication systems, supply of Horizon Power DERMS interface, supply of grid protection systems, and on-site and remote commissioning. This initiative not only reduced energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions for these schools but also demonstrated our commitment to sustainable energy solutions and our ability to deliver quality renewable energy systems in remote locations.
